     A mad king barks and farts as his horror show court of grinning ghouls dance the country into oblivion in a circus Americans would not have believed just a couple of years ago. If there was ever a time to shine a light on the filth hiding just under the surface of the money and power that have plundered the world in our name it is now when it has turned on its own citizens. OLIVER'S ILLUMINATIONS is a 50,000-word thoroughly researched graphic novel with 160 magic realism illustrations, a whimsical children's book of American Empire that softens the painful truth of history with humor and compassion and offers the knowledge of history our over lords fear most. Dan regains consciousness in an alley beneath trash cans crowned with caterwauling rats only to

wake again and rush from a hotel to a cheap cruise of the Greek Isles on a ship crowned with

caterwauling Americans each absolutely convinced who is responsible for the Great Recession

and the impending demise of their great country and what must be done about it. LUCIA lost

her investment in the private prison industry to the little people who have, to the horror of

GLADYS and NADINE, put a Communist, Bolshevik, Muslim Hottentot in the White House, a

president who offers BOB and SALLY the Change They Can Believe In, but leaves JUSTIN and

COURTNEY drowning in college debt. JOHN is amazed he has lived through hatred all his life

and is grieving that his husband has not. BUCK, a Vietnam War vet is furious that Wall Street

works over the world like a seventy-year-old senator works over a seventeen-year-old intern.

CESARIA, an octogenarian awash in tribal fabrics compares the lot to squabbling cannibals

DANCING AROUND THE COOKING POT feasting on each other rather than on those who

put them there. A cat fight tour of the ruins of Knossos, a fatal earthquake, a tear gas drenched

riot, a storm at sea, and an affair that boils across the Aegean in cabins, suites, lifeboats, closets

 and donkey stables set the fire burning and the cauldron bubbling. It’s time for dinner.
